MAJOR E. JONELLE EYCHNER

Major Jonelle Eychner is a recent graduate from Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama where she earned a Masters of Military Studies.

Prior to her attendance at Air Command and Staff College, she served as the Chief, Senior Leader Management, Joint Manpower and Personnel Directorate, United States Strategic Command where she was responsible for joint Senior Officer personnel programs serving over 152 Colonels and 20 General and Flag Officers.

Major Eychner entered the Air Force in 1998 after graduating Cum Laude from Texas Tech University where she earned her commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. She has served in various services positions at base level to include Food Service Officer, Honor Guard Commander, Officer in Charge of Readiness and Training, Combat Support Flight Commander, and Chief of Services.  

She deployed as the Deputy Commander, 363d Expeditionary Services Squadron, Prince Sultan Air Base, KSA and as the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Officer Forward, Policy and Programs Branch, Manpower and Personnel Directorate, United States Central Command.  Major Eychner is married to Brad Eychner of San Antonio, Texas and they have one son, Aiden (Born Oct 2010).

Mr. Brian S. Floyd

Mr. Brian S. Floyd is currently the Deputy Director of the 60th Force Support Squadron  and in this capacity assists the Commander in planning and managing a comprehensive program of activities to meet the physical, recreational, lodging, dining, personnel, manpower, and mortuary and social needs of 8,350 military, 9820 dependents, 1800 civilians, 5,650 Air Force Reservist personnel, and 35,000 retirees that constitute the customer base of the largest Force Support Squadron in AMC.

  He graduated from Colorado State University as a member of the Phi Epa Sigma National Honor Society, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Administration in June 1979. He received his Graduate Degree in Adult and Higher Education from Oklahoma State University in 1996.  He began his Air Force career as a Youth Program and Sports Specialist at the Air Force Academy in 1980.  In 1986 he became the Youth Director at Wright Patterson Air Force Base managing a program that serviced the needs of over 10,000 youth.  In 1987 he was selected as the Community Center Director at Lackland AFB and played a major role in helping Lackland win the coveted Curtis E. Lemay award as the best Morale, Welfare and Recreation squadron in the Air Force.  His other assignments include Community Center Director, Lindsey Air Station, Germany; Deputy MWR Director, Soesterberg AB, The Netherlands; Family Member Support Flight Chief, Spangdahlem AB, Germany; Family Member Support Flight Chief, Ramstein AB, Germany; Business Flight Chief, Beale AFB, Ca; Business and Community Support Director, Bolling AFB, Washington D.C.  In 1992, while stationed at Soesterberg, he won the Meritorious Award as the best Services Director in USAFE.  In 2009 he  once again won the Meritorious Award, this time  as the AMC Senior Civilian of the year as the Deputy FSS at Travis.

  He has been the acting commander for several services squadrons and held several air staff level positions including Chief, Resources and Requirements; Chief, Business and Community Operations, and Services Audit Review Director.  As a member of Air Staff, he played a key role in getting Secretariat support to earmark $50M in BRAC dollars for future nonappropriated fund and DeCA projects.  He also procured Chief of Staff of the Air Force approval for the FY01 NAF Facilities Construction program resulting in the construction of 20 projects totaling $49.5M.

  He is graduate of Air Command and Staff College and is a Certified Recreational Professional by the National Recreation and Parks Association.  He is married to the former Michele Pohl and has two children: Nathan and Zachary.
