The Teen Zone is a place where teenagers, ages 13-18, can come relax and enjoy the company of their peers. The Teen Zone offers a variety of programs that help assist teens academically and to guide and enhance the talents teens already possess. Guidance is offered through our Military Life Consulatants, as well as tutoring support and education in financial responsibilities for the future.

CRAFT DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP |

Learn how to make a clay jewelry box, glass ornaments and fused glass jewelry items. This is the perfect workshop to learn artistic techniques and design while creating one of a kind pieces.
When: Tue, Nov 22 Time: 9am - 4pm Fee: $10 Ages: open to youth 9-18

Teen Council Meetings
Teens aged 13-18 are encouraged to meet at the Teen Zone every 4th Thu ofthe month for the Teen Council. This program is run by teens for teens,where you can express concerns and share your ideas! Anything and everythingwill be brought to the Commanders attention, to get results you deserve.Parents are welcome to join in and participate. Meetings are 4:30pm-5:30pmand refreshments will be served. For more information contact Sue Brown at424-3131.
2012 Travis Super Bowl Sunday Chili Cook off Challenge
Travis is looking for the Best Home Made Chili! There are 3 categories forparticipation: Active Duty, Family Member/Civilian, and Teen aged 13-18.Chili will be judged on Appearance/Presentation, Taste, Creativity, andOriginality. Chili must be presented with their family recipe andregistration information by 4:30pm on Feb 3rd at the Teen Zone. TEEN COUNCIL Every 3rd Thursday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm
Teens ages 13-18 can help make a difference here at Travis AFB! Discussions focus on positive ideas and concerns are brought to the Command's attention. This is a great way to learn about community involvement. For more information, call Sue Brown at the Teen Zone 424-3131.
