People traveling on official government orders are eligible to make reservations for transient quarters as soon as the requirement is known. The reservations are accepted 24-hours a day by calling 707-424-8000.  After normal duty hours the Guest Service Representatives at the front desk will assist you.  Our office, located in Bldg. 402, is open for walk-in assistance from 7am-5pm Mon-Fri.   Reservations can also be made by completing an on-line reservations request by clicking on the following link http://www.travisfss.com/lodging/westwind/reservations.php 
The Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF) are designed to accommodate a family of up to six members. Active duty military traveling with their families can use the TLF while on PCS, leave, or permissive TDY. Civilian and military friends and relatives of patients at David Grant Medical Center and hospital outpatients are also eligible to stay at the Westwind Inn. Small pets are allowed only in designated units for an additional $10/night fee.
Visiting Quarters (VQ) are designed and available for individuals or couples without children. We do have some VQ units with two beds that will accommodate small families in the event TLF’s are fully occupied.  Priority one is given to authorized personnel traveling on official government orders.  Commercial quarters are available for personnel traveling on official government orders when all on-base lodging quarters are full.

Authorized users who are not traveling on official government orders may use the facilities on a Space-Available basis. Space-A reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance and are based on projected occupancy.
